As DCL Construction continues to grow and respond to the ongoing requirements of major clients, we are looking to add talent to our amazing team.  We are currently seeking to fill a new data entry specialist position. This is a FT / In-Person position (Monday - Friday).  This position will require strong attention to detail, a high level of quality, problem solving skills and time management skills. The Data Entry Clerk reports directly to the Accounting Supervisor.  Hourly wage range: $19 - $21.

Data Entry Specialist Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains database by entering new and updated customer, vendor and account information.
  • Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information.
  • Establishes entry priorities.
  • Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies.
  • Resolve deficiencies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
  • Input text-based and numerical information from source documents quickly and efficiently.
  • Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
  • Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.
  • Combines data from both systems when account information is incomplete.
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Sort and organize hard copies of paperwork after entering data electronically.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Provide occasional administrative support.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
